Hydrafacial: Get the Details!

Summer, sweat, and sunscreen can make the skin feel congested and cranky. The Hydrafacial is great way to clear out the “gunk,” boost hydration and bring that glow back. The Hydrafacial is a Complexions Med Spa favorite. Let’s dive into the details of this treatment.

How does the Hydrafacial work?

Hydrafacial uses a patented technology machine to cleanse, extract, and hydrate your skin. The first step uncovers a new layer of skin with gentle exfoliation and relaxing resurfacing. Next, it removes debris from pores with painless suction and nourishes with intense moisturizers to quench skin. Last but not least, it saturates the skin’s surface with antioxidants and peptides to maximize your glow.

The Hydrafacial finale uses light therapy to enhance your results. Specifically, red light helps with inflammation and stimulates collagen and elastin production. The blue lights target and kill acne bacteria to help congested and oily skin. Your aesthetician will determine what your skin needs and customize your experience accordingly.

What are the benefits of a Hydrafacial?

  • Great for teens or acne-prone skin
  • Boosts skin’s glow and hydration
  • Clear and unclog your pores (BONUS: Painless extractions)
  • Restores skin’s firmness
  • Smoothes tone and texture

Who is the ideal candidate?

The Hydrafacial treatment is ideal for men and women with all skin types, even those with sensitive skin. Your dermatologist or aesthetician will customize the treatment for your unique skin conditions and needs.

How long does the treatment take?

Typically, Hydrafacial treatments take 60 minutes. You can return to your normal activities after the treatment since there is no downtime.

What results can you expect? How many treatments are needed to see results? How long do the results last?

Many clients report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last 5 to 7 days or even longer. We don’t believe in quick fixes and recommend one treatment per month to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, and oily or congested skin. We recommend continuing a HydraFacial regimen to maintain skin health results.

How much does this facial cost?

The Hydrafacial cost is $165 per treatment. That includes exfoliation, glycolic treatment, extractions, hydration, nourishing skin with powerful antioxidants, and light therapy. In addition, we customize the entire experience to your specific skin goals and needs.

At a minimum, we recommend getting this treatment at least twice a year to deep clean and maintain the health of your skin.
