What is Radiofrequency Microneedling? 

Microneedling (collagen induction therapy) creates tiny skin punctures using ultra-fine needles. The RF technology delivers a controlled heat that causes your skin to constrict, tighten, and tone to reveal a more youthful complexion. If you want to go above and beyond the results of radiofrequency microneedling, you can add platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to your service for an additional fee. At the time of your appointment, your technician will do a blood draw and place it into a centrifuge machine to separate the platelets. Then after the microneedling is complete, they will apply the platelets to the treated area. This added treatment can speed up your healing process and maximize your treatment results.

What to expect?

It’s essential to be aware of your role in this process and follow all pre-and post-treatment instructions, such as staying out of the indirect or direct sun. Is this skin resurfacing treatment right for me? 

RF microneedling is suitable for all skin types and is an excellent option to improve your skin without chemical peels or surgery naturally. However, this technology is unsafe if you have a pacemaker, defibrillator, or any implants (electronic or metal) in the treatment area. In addition, although rare, side effects of this procedure can include damage to the skin’s texture, redness, swelling, bruising, and itching. Therefore, we recommend you consult your dermatologist and licensed aesthetician to ensure that this treatment will work for you.
